Analytics
Plausible Analytics, hosted on fly.io, gives us insight into overall traffic trends. Its features include:
- Estimating unique visitor counts by hashing the User-Agent HTTP header and the IP address, using a rotating salt
- Aggregating data on URL, referral source, geographical location, device type, and browser version
- Retaining historical statistics for as long as the website remains active
- Not using cookies
- Not collecting personal information
For further details, please refer to the Plausible Data Policy. That document outlines specifics related to Plausible Analytics Cloud hosting, but we operate a self-hosted instance. Since it runs the unmodified open-source code, the remaining technical information in the Data Policy also applies here.
The home page loads our company’s Instagram profile from Meta’s servers. The sandboxing of the iframe prevents these servers from identifying the home page URL. However, Instagram may employ cookies or browser fingerprinting to track which Instagram profile their servers delivered, associating it with your Instagram browsing history. For more information, please refer to Instagram’s current Privacy Policy. Our website does not receive any statistics from Instagram about interactions with the embedded Instagram page.
Netlify
Netlify is the content delivery network that serves our webpages. We did not opt-in to Netlify’s analytics product, nor to their split testing, nor other products that set cookies. This means they do less tracking. Netlify may collect more statistics for their own purposes, but they do not share this data with us. One exception is that we can see the bandwidth quota.
